Abstract
Cu may be detd. directly in trichloroacetic acid filtrates of whole blood or plasma with Na diethyldithio-carbamate, the yellow color being extracted with amyl alcohol. Normal human blood contains 0.185-0.229 mgm. Cu per 100 cc, more or less equally distributed between plasma and corpuscles. The Cu contents of sheep, pig, horse and guinea-pig bloods are of the same order aa that of human blood; rabbit blood shows slightly lower values. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
