Abstract
The fluorescence of riboflavin is altered by interfering substances. Detn. of riboflavin by light absorption after its conversion to lumi-flavin yields low results. The biological method of Bourquin-Sherman and the direct light absorption method are reliable. The latter was modified by adsorption on franconite and elution with pyridine-methanol-water mixture. Interfering dyes were destroyed by permanganate. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
