Abstract
Arteriovenous haemofiltration was used for removal of fluid overload in a 9 month old burned infant with diuretic resistant hypervolaemia. After 60 hours of arteriovenous haemofiltration hypervolaemia had disappeared. Arteriovenous haemofiltration proved to be a safe and simple extracorporal method of managing severe fluid overload. Keywords
