Abstract
We describe a patient with polyarteritis nodosa who, despite therapy with daily doses of oral prednisone and cyclophosphamide, developed acute renal failure. Renal histopathologic examination demonstrated crescentic glomerulonephritis. Treatment with intravenous pulse cyclophosphamide and methylprednisolone resulted in clinical improvement and significant recovery of renal function. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
