Abstract
A new singlemode theory is given for the centre-fed hemispherical dielectric resonator antenna. From theory, a simple formula is derived for efficient computation of the impedance matrix, and hence the input impedance of the antenna. The theory is in excellent agreement with the rigorous theory and will be useful for design engineering. Keywords
