Abstract
HUMAN males who have suffered traumatic injuries of the spinal cord and cauda equina have long been considered sterile. This study was performed to determine whether or not this assumption is true. A previous paper1 discussed the incidence of erection and ejaculation in the human male with traumatic injuries of the spinal cord and cauda equina.The 18 cases studied in the present series were patients at Cushing Veterans Administration Hospital who had suffered traumatic injuries of the spinal cord and cauda equina.
