Determination of Vibrational Resonance Parameters in the Spectra of Polyatomic Molecules

Abstract
An approximation method for determination of vibrational resonance parameters, based upon the invariance of anharmonicity constants against phase changes, is described. Several examples, including resonances in the spectra of CO2, OCN-, CH3I, and some 1,1-disubstituted ethylenes, are given.
