Scattering of electrons at the F-center in oxides of the perovskite family

Abstract
The nature of the anisotropic scattering of electrons at F-centers in oxides is discussed. Formulas are obtained that take account of the contribution to scattering both from the internal and the external region of the point defect which is present in a triaxial ferroelectric. Possibilities are discussed of enhancing the anisotropic scattering of electrons by injecting hot electrons into the crystal and by the polarization of ceramics.
