Abstract
Important design aspecrs of a real-time sorting system for PET have been discussed. A general functional description was offered. Principal data flows witnin the design wrere listed. Processing algcrithms were detailed. A critical performance goal of 1MHz throughput and measured compliance were given. Keywords
