Abstract
Following a critical discussion of the problems of theory and experiment and their coordination, experimentally determined curves for the impedance of a symmetrical, cylindrical antenna terminating a two‐wire line are given and interpreted. The conclusion is reached that the impedance of an antenna, especially near anti‐resonance, depends in a large measure on the proximity and the nature of the input terminals. Keywords
