Abstract
Global asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point of a delayed system given by a higher-order delayed differential equation of retarded type with several time-varying delays is considered. For this purpose the given system is transformed to a multi-variable first-order system and then the previously obtained stability criterion is applied to this. Several illustrative examples are presented to show the stability region in the parameter spaces and they are compared to the cases with constant delays. Keywords
