Abstract
A method is presented for the study of contraction-relaxation phenomenon in glycerol-extracted cardiac muscle using the intact hearts of large bull frogs. Perfusing fluids enter directly into the ventricular chamber. ATP administration resulted in rapid strong contractions in 130 specimens. Keywords
