Abstract
Four cows with uncomplicated ketosis received subcut. injns. of Wilson''s adrenal cortical extract. From 200 to 275 ml. of the extract were injd. over periods of 3-7 days. Within 24 hrs. of the initial injns., each of the 4 cows responded with an improvement in appetite and a return of the blood glucose and acetone bodies toward normal values.This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
