Long range interactions between three hydrogen atoms

Abstract
The three-body interaction energy for three hydrogen atoms a, b and c at large distances Rab , Rbc and Rca from each other is calculated to be 21·6425 (3 cos θa cos θb cos θc + 1)/Rab 3 Rbc 3 Rca 3 atomic units, where θa , θb and θc are the internal angles of the triangle abc. The calculation is carried out by transforming the three-body problem into three one-body problems.
