Abstract
Liquid crystal anchoring energy varies with the distance to the solid substrate in the interfacial layer. Experimental values correspond to a low anchorage as the liquid crystal slides on its interfacial layer. The question of whether it will be possible to observe low anchorage in a parallel alignment is raised.Keywords
