Abstract
The dispersion relation for plasma waves propagating perpendicular to a dc magnetic field in a metal with a spherical Fermi surface is studied. It is found that the dispersion relation differs only slightly from the prediction of the free-electron model. The experimental data can be used to estimate the value of the interaction coefficient , but they should be independent of and .
