METHOD OF PURIFICATION OF HUMAN PITUITARY GONADOTROPIN FOR CLINICAL ASSAYS*

Abstract
A method for the concentration of human pituitary gonadotropin from 48-hour samples of urine of normal men is described wherein the content of solids has been reduced from about 70 mg. per liter to about 1 mg. per liter, with a net recovery of about 75 per cent of the gonadotropic potency originally present.
