Abstract
Electron diffraction patterns from epitaxial {111} films of silver may contain stars at the n/3(422) reciprocal lattice points. Dark-field micrographs show that these stars come from non-coherent twin boundaries in the films. They appear as a consequence of the disturbed nature of the narrow region along these boundaries. Keywords
