Abstract
This work has been primarily concerned with plagioclase felspars within the composition range Ab30An70 to Ab0An100, i.e. felspars with the anorthite-type structure. Some results for less basic specimens will be quoted where appropriate ; a fuller description of the effects of heat-treatments on intermediate plagioclase felspars will be published later. Keywords
