Abstract
The anomalous resistivity of plutonium is interpreted in terms of interband scattering. It is shown that a reasonable band structure can account for the observed resistivities in alpha and in (stabilized) delta plutonium. The behavior of the anomaly as function of alloying additions is also understandable. Keywords
