Abstract
The chronic treatment with increasing dose of morphine, starting with a subcutaneous dose of 20 mg/kg twice daily and ending with 120 mg/kg at the end of 6th week failed to develop physical dependence in mice. There exists a clear species difference between mice and rats in the occurrence of physical dependence to morphine.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
