Pion-Nucleon Bremsstrahlung

Abstract

A model-independent calculation of $\pi N$ bremsstrahlung differential cross sections is presented. The $\pi N$ amplitude is obtained from the available data on elastic $\pi N$ scattering. Specific results are calculated for positive pions on protons at pion laboratory energies between 150 and 300 MeV and various values of pion and nucleon angles.
