Abstract
The rate equation for electron density in partially ionized argon is calculated by a BKM method taking into account collisional, radiative and transport processes. Results show that a two-temperature plasma is to be considered in order to counterbalance the radiative recombination losses. Differences between these two temperatures are accentuated by diffusion. Keywords
