The following new species were encountered in this investigation:Haemogregarina hamata in Lacerta jacksoni;Hepatozoon minchini in Crotaphopeltis degeniPirhaemocyton granosa in Agama colonorumAtoxoplasma argyae n.gen. n.sp. in Argya rubi-ginosaSpirochaeta harveyi in Cercopithecus aethiops.2.
