Abstract
In situations employed to establish a conditioned avoidance of electric shock, dogs have been classified as "inhibited," "excited," or "normal," depending on their behavior. Two animals classified as "inhibited" in this situation behaved as "excited" animals when subcut. injd. with prostigmine methylsulfate (25[mu]g/ kg.). The results are discussed in the light of theories of the mode of action of prostigmine. Keywords
