S-Wave Hyperon-Nucleon Interactions and SU3Symmetry

Abstract

The generalized Pauli principle is combined with the assumption of S${\mathrm{U}}_3$ symmetry to yield relations between hyperon-nucleon and nucleon-nucleon scattering amplitudes for the ${}_{}{}^1{}_{}{}^{}S_0^{}{}_{}{}^{}$ and ${}_{}{}^3{}_{}{}^{}S_1^{}{}_{}{}^{}$ states.
