Activation of impotent male rats by injections of testosterone propionate.

Abstract

12 [male] rats which were observed to be sexually inactive during a series of tests were given subcutan. injs. of testosterone proprionate. A few vats copulated 2 days after the 1st inj.; others, although more active sexually, did not copulate until after 2 or more injs. In most cases the no. of copulations was below that which would be expected of normal rats of the same age.
