Abstract
Based on a multiple-hard-scattering picture we derive simple relations between inclusive cross sections for large-transverse-momentum particle production in nucleus-nucleus, nucleon-nucleus, and nucleon-nucleon scatterings. The relations are compared with the recent data for production in collisions at high energy.
