Abstract
Resistivities of dilute alloys of iron with Cr, Mn, Co, Ni, Ge, Si, W, and Ru were measured from 4° to 1180°K. The solute resistivity was strongly temperature dependent, generally showing a large increase to a maximum near 400°K, a sharp drop to the Curie temperature, and then remaining relatively constant at a value much lower than that measured at 4°K. Apart from a factor of 2 these features are well described by a simple spin disorder model. Keywords
