Abstract
This report indicates that the diminished peripheral release as well as the decrease in arterial plasma concentrations of some amino acids which occurs during hypothyroidism in man may be corrected by treatment. The human forearm has been shown to be useful for the in vivo investigation of hormonally induced alterations in peripheral amino acid metabolism. Keywords
