Electron-transfer and dissociation cross sections of 1.25- to 25-keVH+,H0,H−, andH2+in collisions with Xe

Abstract
Total collision cross-section measurements of 1.25- to 25-keV H+, H0, H and H2+ in Xe are reported for the nine processes H+H0, H+H, H0H, and H2+ → [H+, H, (H20 and H0)]. Single- and double-electron-stripping cross sections for which the Xe atom does not change charge are deduced by combining present and past results. Comparisons are made with available experimental data and with theoretical values.
