Abstract
A study of the isobaric analog resonance in the reaction is presented. Measurements of the cross section for the and reactions leaving the residual nucleus in the ground state and first excited state, respectively, have been made. Analyses of the analog resonance (at laboratory proton energy of 5.066 MeV) have been made using the coupled-channel formalism and the -matrix approach of Robson. Good agreement with the experimental data has been obtained using both theories for this particular resonance.
