Abstract
Measurements of electric permittivity, and polarization are reported for chiral liquid crystal DOBAMBC. Dielectric hysteresis was found. Temperature-variations of spontaneous polarization and relaxation time are studied. The dielectric properties of chiral smectic C and those of crystalline ferroelectrics are compared.Keywords
