Adsorption of Bovine Alkaline Phosphatase on Diatomaceous Silica

Abstract
Calcined Celites were poor adsorbents for bovine alkaline phosphatase. It was concluded that the clay in the Filter-Cel might have been the active adsorbing agent. Phosphatase subjected to further purification in which treatment with lipase was used, was not adsorbed on Filter-Cel.
