Abstract
The elastic scattering of low-energy electrons from Ni is examined at temperatures where the multiphonon scattering is dominant. The effective atomic-scattering factor is extracted. The specularly reflected intensity is examined and the corrections necessary to determine the rigid-lattice interference function are discussed. Keywords
