Abstract
A case of naevus lipomatosus cutaneous superficialis of Hoffman and Zurhelle (N.L.C.H.Z.) is reported. Naevus lipomatosus cutaneous superficialis is a rare type of naevus first described by Hoffman and Zurhelle (1921). The condition was reviewed by Lynch and Goltz (1958). They noted eight cases in the world literature, and described a ninth. Since then, only a few further cases have been recorded. The most recent report has been from Finley and Musso (1972) who described the first example of this condition in Australia. We report the first case of this unusual condition from Ireland. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
