Abstract
This paper presents the principal concepts of interactive graphics programming using the Core Graphics System. The Core System is a subroutine package which provides with extensive examples facilities for creating arbitrary views of two- and three-dimensional objects and for supporting interaction between the application program and its user. Phrases: computer graphics, graphics programming techniques, Core Graphics System, graphics subroutine packages, device independence, portability, graphics standards.
