Abstract
The dynamics and constituents of the cerebrospinal fluid were studied in 27 consecutive patients with myxedema. The only significant abnormality noted was elevation of the level of total protein in 25 patients. Electrophoretic partition revealed a parallel increase of the gamma globulin fraction of the protein in both cerebrospinal fluid and serum. No correlation was found between the degree of elevation of the cerebrospinal fluid protein level and the clinical status of the patient. Keywords
