The Angular Distribution of Alphas fromLi7(p,α)α

Abstract
The tracks formed in photographic emulsions by alphas from the reaction Li7(p,α)α at various angles from the beam were observed at bombarding energies E between 400 and 900 kev. The angular distribution proportional to 1+A(E) cos2θ, as found by Young, Ellett, and Plain at lower voltages, was also observed here, and a maximum of A(E) was found at 675 kev.
