(p, d), (p, t), and (p, α) Reactions to the Same Final States inFe56and inZr90

Abstract
The reactions Fe57(p, d), Fe58(p, t), and Co59(p, α), all exciting final states in Fe56, and the reactions Zr91(p, d), Zr92(p, t), and Nb93(p, α), all exciting final states in Zr90, were studied with 22-MeV protons from the ORNL 86-in. Cyclotron. The angular distributions and cross sections for each of these reactions exciting the same final states were obtained. The cross sections for exciting a given final state by each of the reactions provides an indication of the relative probability for the single, double, and triple pickup process.
