Abstract
Resonant vibrational Raman measurements of the O ion modes in γ‐irradiated Cd(ClO3)2 single crystals are reported. It is concluded that the O ions occupy only one non‐equivalent site in the host lattice, in accordance with the ESR measurements previously reported. Resonance enhancement of the fundamental mode and its overtones as a function of the exciting wavelength is also investigated. The activation energy is determined by a simple direct calculation. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
