Abstract
A systematic study of the thermal annealing of irradiated NaClO3 and KClO3 has been made by EPR and NQR techniques. The irradiation conditions, the physical state of the sample and the impurities therein have been shown to influence the formation and destruction of the free radicals created by the irradiation. The experimental results are in good agreement with a proposed model. Keywords
