Abstract
Tests of the Glashow-Iliopoulos-Maiani Hamiltonian based on SU(3) symmetry are presented that do not depend on any enhancement assumptions. The significance of possible failures of these predictions are discussed with emphasis on alternative models involving right-handed currents.Keywords
