Abstract
We analyze the two-body weak nonleptonic decays of "charmed" pseudoscalar mesons to normal hadrons, in models with the most general structure for the right-handed currents. The structure of the left-handed part of the current is chosen in accordance with the Glashow-Iliopoulos-Maiani mechanism. Implications for the SPEAR charm search are analyzed. Keywords
