Abstract
Six healthy subjects were given a standard breakfast on 1 occasion and an I.v. infusion of porcine GIP [Gastric inhibitory polypeptide] in a dose of 1.0 .mu.g .cntdot. kg-1 .cntdot. h-1 on another. The experiments lasted 90 min. Plasma GIP values were determined with 5 different porcine GIP antisera and, dependence on the antisera used, the postinfusion plasma GIP values could be considered both sub-physiological and supra-physiological.This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
