Deuteron Stripping Reaction onMg26

Abstract
The reaction Mg26(d, p)Mg27 was studied at several bombarding energies between 3.0 and 5.1 MeV. Angular distributions were measured for the transitions to the ground and first three excited states in Mg27. Absolute spectroscopic factors were calculated using the distorted-wave Born approximation, and the dependence of these results on a lower cutoff radius was investigated. The results are compared to those for the K=12 band in Mg25.
