Abstract
An analysis of normal modes in semiconductor films is presented for the stiff−boundary and free−boundary models. The effects of diffusion and anisotropic differential mobility on carrier wave propagation are investigated. Dispersion equations are analyzed in particular cases. The features of the modes are elucidated and related to results obtained previously. Keywords
