Abstract
When spinach plants were transferred from short days to continuous light a large temporary increase in gibberellin content occured after one day. Several days after transfer the gibberellin content was less than that of plants in short days. It is suggested that the increase in gibberellin stimulates cell division and that subsequently the turnover of gibberellin is greatly increased. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
