Magnetic resonance of the insulating spin-glass spinel solid solution CdCr2xIn22xS4 (0.25x0.85)

Abstract
A microwave resonance study has been performed in the temperature range 4.2T300 K on the system CdCr2xIn22xS4 in the spin-glass region (0.25x0.85). The low-temperature line broadening and the down shift of the resonant field are better interpreted in terms of topological arguments rather than on the basis of a critical-dynamics model. Evidence of ferromagnetic short-range correlations in the spin-glass phase is presented.
