Abstract
Ferromagnetic thin films of the Sm (0–45%)–Co system were prepared by the oblique incidence method. It was found that saturation flux density and coercive force of thin films showed a continuous dependency on the concentration of Sm. Coercivity of 1.9 kOe was obtained in Sm 30%–Co thin film prepared at an incident angle of 45°C. From the experimental results, it is considered that the nonequilibrium phase of Sm–Co is realized in the films. Keywords
